Number 200!

Number 200 received today from Sydney, Australia and I've learned a very valuable lesson in wallet slimming - thank you kindly Aideen.

So the moral of the story is rather than suffer an unsightly bulky wallet, spend all your money on important stuff.  Like shoes. Or handbags.

Mission accomplished!

Donkey

This is one of my sisters favourite jokes, so she couldn't resist when she found this postcard:

Two guys walk into a bar and one guy say to the other guy;

"Go up to the bar there Donkey and order 2 pints, I'm just going to the bathroom".

So Donkey goes to the bar and the barman says;

"That's really mean, why does your friend call you Donkey?"

And Donkey says;

"Oh he-ah, he-ah, he-ah, he always calls me that".

Jack & Rose

Titanic's last stop on its fateful voyage was in Cobh, Co Cork in Ireland in 1912 and this month was the anniversary of its sinking.  That meant many events to remember the Titanic including the release of the film in 3D.

My sister has NEVER gotten over Roses discardment of Jack after her promise to never let go in the film and has always said there was room for them both on the door.

On the postcard she sent she's still bearing the grudged as she reminded me of just that (again).  And she is not alone as the people below obviously feel so strongly about it they have provided proof.

I'll just say what I always say - yes, 2 could have fit on that door, but it wasn't real!  Leonardo is alive and well and you have to get over it!!

Where for art thou Summer

Summer is just around the corner, though you wouldn't know it here in Ireland at the moment.  This month was true to the old April Showers adage and we've had downpours and hailstone all month

I'm heading to Nantes in France in 2 weeks time with my friends Veronique & Monica to visit our friend Denise and we all can't wait to see her.

Fingers crossed the French weather doesn't disappoint and is sunny & warm and if these guys feel like joining us - all the better!
